A delicious floral black tea with a creamy texture. Just 9kg of this special tea was made by Takuya Yokoyama at Issin-en farm in Miyazaki prefecture using the Koshun cultivar which gives his tea a lovely sweet spiciness reminiscent of cinnamon.

Brew with water just off the boil and around 3g of leaf per 150ml of water.

Description

Takuya Yokoyama is a wonderful, young tea maker producing teas at Issin-en farm. Issin-en is located in Miyazaki prefecture on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu. The farm is a pioneer of natural farming and has been producing delicious Kamairicha tea without agrochemicals for over 30 years and more recently interesting black and oolong teas.
