Osmanthus Black

Mr Ota is a master of scenting black teas as his sublime Plum Blossom Black shows. Here he has produced during the brief flowering of osmanthus in Autumn, a tiny quantity of the highest quality tea that beautifully balances the black tea taste with the floral aspect of the osmanthus. A delightful alternative to the more fruity Osmanthus Long Jing green tea.

PLANTS AND PROCESSING
Camellia Sinensis Sinensis, Blend of many cultivars including Yabukita, Saemidori, Tsuyuhikari. Harvested in the Spring and scented in the Autumn, 2024.

BREWING
95-100°C, 3-4g per cup, with or without milk. 3 infusions.
